Welcome to Senior Brass Ensemble
The Senior Brass Ensemble offers brass players the opportunity to develop their musicianship in a focused, small ensemble setting. Open to musicians of approximately Grade 4 standard and above, the ensemble welcomes players of cornet, trumpet, flugelhorn, tenor horn, baritone, euphonium, trombone, bass trombone and tuba.
Rehearsals explore a varied repertoire, from traditional brass music and classical arrangements to film scores, popular favourites and contemporary works. Playing in a smaller ensemble helps musicians strengthen their listening skills, improve musical independence and develop a rich, balanced brass sound.
Whether you’re looking to refine your playing or enjoy an additional ensemble alongside Concert Wind Band or Family Brass Band, Senior Brass Ensemble provides an enjoyable and rewarding musical experience.
