South Derbyshire Music Centre

Gift Aid Declaration

Help South Derbyshire Music Centre at no extra cost to you

If you are a UK taxpayer, Gift Aid allows South Derbyshire Music Centre (SDMC) to claim an extra 25p for every £1 you give through subscriptions and donations. This extra funding comes directly from HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) and costs you nothing.

How Gift Aid works

By agreeing to Gift Aid when registering your child or making a donation, you are confirming that:

You are a UK taxpayer.

You would like SDMC to claim Gift Aid on your eligible subscriptions and donations.

Gift Aid can be claimed on your current and future eligible subscriptions and donations. Where HMRC rules allow, we may also claim Gift Aid on eligible donations made within the previous four tax years.

Important information

To qualify for Gift Aid, you must pay at least as much UK Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax during the tax year as the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all your charitable donations. If you pay less tax than the amount claimed, it is your responsibility to pay the difference to HMRC.

Please let us know if you:

Wish to cancel your Gift Aid declaration.

Change your name or home address.

No longer pay enough Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax to cover your Gift Aid donations.
