Welcome to Family Brass Band
Family Brass Band is a unique ensemble that brings together brass players of all ages to enjoy making music in a friendly, welcoming and supportive environment. Whether you’re a young musician, a parent, a former player returning to your instrument, or an experienced brass musician, you’ll find a place in our band.
Open to players of approximately Grade 4 standard and above, Family Brass Band performs a varied repertoire, including traditional brass band favourites, film music, popular classics and contemporary arrangements. Rehearsals are enjoyable, challenging and rewarding, offering musicians the opportunity to develop their skills while sharing the experience of making music together.
Families don’t need to play together to join—everyone is welcome!

Samantha and Josh lead Family Brass Band with enthusiasm, expertise and a passion for brass music. Together, they create an inclusive environment where musicians of all ages are encouraged to develop their confidence, enjoy making music and perform to the best of their ability.
