Welcome to Junior Choir

If your child loves to sing, Junior Choir at South Derbyshire Music Centre (SDMC) is the perfect place to develop their musical skills, build confidence and make lasting friendships.

Open to children in Years 2–6, Junior Choir offers an exciting and welcoming environment where young singers can learn new songs, improve their vocal technique and enjoy performing as part of a team. Whether your child has sung before or is completely new to choir, everyone is welcome.

Our rehearsals are fun, engaging and designed to help children grow in confidence while developing musicianship, teamwork and performance skills.

Meet the Ensemble Director

Clair directs our Junior Choir with enthusiasm, encouragement and a passion for helping young singers reach their full potential. She creates a positive and inclusive environment where every member feels valued, gains confidence and enjoys making music together.
